Getting ready for the snowball fight!
The girls on top of Mauna Kea with Shane! Notice the feet!! So, with the New Year comes a fun experience fo the girls. Shane took them up to Mauna Kea and let them play in the snow. It doesn't snow often over here and when it does, Shane loves to go up and get some. So does the girls. They built a snowman, which went to about Shayli's ankles. It was so sad. They need to learn to make a real snowman like Uncle Rod's! But they had a blast. Kyndra said her favorite part was drinking the hot chocolate. When they returned back to Kona, Shane had filled the back of the truck with snow and we invited all the cousins to come and play in it. It was so funny seeing kids run around in shorts and t-shirts with no shoes on having a snowball fight. I think Shane and his two brothers had more fun than the kids. They used them as target practice to see how far they could throw. I guess they were trying to feel young again. :) All in all it was a fun day. Lynzee loved the cold stuff, and I got my snow fix for the year. I definitely love the warmer weather. Can't wait to go to the beach!!

I can't even imagine having a snowball fight in shorts and t-shirts. It has been snowing here for the last several days and we have about a foot plus on the ground and I am freezing. I would much rather enjoy the snow where you live. Just know that I am so jealous. Enjoy the beach for me too!
That looks like so much fun! Thats one thing we didn't do when we lived there. Wish snow was as rare here! Happy New Year
I loved those pictures. Especially the one of Kyndra and Shayli on the boogie board. That's classic! Thanks for the advice with Ava and her rice cereal. Hopefully it will work!
